The capital city of Mongolia is Ulaanbaatar. Ulaanbaatar is situated in the valley of Tuul river, surrounded by mountains. The altitude of Ulaanbaatar is at the height of 1351 meters.

The legendary bird - Geruda has been chosen as the emblem of the Mongolian capital. According to Mongolian beliefs, the Geruda symbolizes courage and honesty. On the forehead of the Geruda are the Soyombo symbols, which are also found on the national flag of Mongolia.

Huvsgul province is located in Huvsgul region of Hangai-Hentii region. This province borders with Russia on the north, Zavhan, Bulgan and Arhangai province on the west, east and south. The Peak of Delgerhaan Mountain lies 3490m above sea level. Overall area of the province is mountainous and is 1500 to 3000m above sea level.
