• Arrive to Amarbayasgalant monastery
• The second most impotant monastery in Mongolia is Amarbayasgalant
monastery. The original palace was built in the 17 th century for the
Bogd Gegeen II. Later the construction was complemented with several
temples where regular religious ceremonies where held and the ground
became a real monastery. The 300 year-old monastery buildings have
enamel ceilings and and functional pillars with special pipesa inside
for rain drainage.
