Russia and Mongolia have agreed to establish tourist flights between the two countries in the Lake Baikal region. Following meetings earlier in the week, G.Yondongombo from the Ministry of Road, Transport and Tourism of Mongolia said an agreement had been reached with Russian tourism officials. Initial plans call for establishing direct flights between Russia’s Lake Baikal and Mongolia’s Khovsgol Lake.
