QGX Ltd. (TSX:QGX) announced Wednesday that the government of Mongolia has issued a mining license for the Undur Tsagaan site in eastern Mongolia.

The license will allow open-pit mining for tungsten-molybdenum by QGX. Molybdenum is an essential mineral used in the hardening of steel.

Undur Tsagaan is QGX's second major metals mine in Mongolia. Its first project is the  Golden Hills copper-gold-silver mine in western Mongolia.

QGX also announced it is in the process of negotiating with Mongolia’s Minerals Resource Petroleum Authority to further develop the Undur Tsagaan site.
