The Head of the State expressed, he is glad that they are visiting Mongolia. And he noted, the relation and cooperation in both countries is important to develop. The President N.Enkhbayar said, “Tourism sector is our important sector. It is very significant to develop locality, put road, and build construction and power station”. The Prince Al-Valid bin Talal Abdul Aziz Saud said, “We came in Mongolia to study opportunity of investment for Mongolia especially the cooperation for the tourism sector”. At the end of the meeting, the Head of the State of Mongolia awarded the Crown Prince Al-Valid bin Talal with Honoured medal of the 800th Anniversary for the Establishment of the Great Mongolia.

The Prince Al-Valid bin Talal has property of US$ 30 billion and an owner of Savoy Hotel in London and Fairmont Hotel in Toronto.

Canada to open trade office in Ulaanbaatar

Canada will open a permanent trade office in Mongolia to assist local Canadian businesses. Canadian firms have a reported $395 million in investments, including operating more than 20 mines. Canada is also Mongolia’s second largest investor.
