Endangered snow leopards to be studied in Mongolia

{mosimage}Mongolia has been chosen to host a study to seek to prevent the further decline in the numbers of the world’s snow leopards.  A declining population places snow leopards at only 3,500 to 7,000 worldwide. With 1,000 snow leopards, Mongolia has the world’s second largest snow leopard population after China.
