There are three Veterinary offices in UB. The best one is situated next to the Circus, most of the staff here are foreign and well equipped. The fees are fairly reasonable costing around 20,000 Tugrug for basic treatment. I have heard about the animals being treated a little ruff, post surgery, by the Mongolian staff.

The second can be located opposite the Ayanchin Camping shop on Seoul Street, this has been recommended by a number of foreigners taking their pets in for surgery and the Mongolian Vet who runs the surgery is very passionate about animals.

The third is situated close to the Zisen monument over Peace Bridge all the staff here are Mongolian and their English is pretty poor. As with everything in Mongolia prices are different for Mongolians and Foreigners, if you don’t have any Mongolian take a friend with you and make sure your animal has gotten the treatment you’ve paid for.
