This is definitely a place you do not want to miss out on visiting, you can actually touch all of the exhibits on show including a large meteorite sat in the middle of the floor and a Tyranousaurus Rex fossil! The museum is very popular with school groups and most visitors to the country.

The the gallery is deceptively large and is full of sculptures and huge panoramic works of art together with prose and poetry and even games that are native to the region such as chess!

There is also one room dedicated to tradition Mongolian Zurag painting. The Gallery is also home to, Tsevegjav Ochir’s 1958 painting, “The Fight of the Stallions”. The main hall is on the third floor containing classical and contemporary art, which is intended to fuse western and eastern cultures, containing sculptures, contemporary and traditional art work from various genres.

Entry is 2,000 tugrug. 5,000 Tugrug for a photography pass.
