A state competition, Ovlon Bujigletsgeeye or Let’s Dance by Inheriting, has been running at the Mongolian Children’s House. The competition was organized under the name of State Honored Artist, G.Dolgorsuren. Dancers from the capital city and countryside have been participating. The dancers have been competing in national Mongolian dance in three age groups – primary, middle and senior. All categories will have winners in solo and group dance performances.

Experts say copper prices to remain high for next two years

Market observers believe Mongolian copper prices will remain high for at least the next two years. One of the main reasons given for the continuing high prices are delays to planned mining projects caused by increasing percentages of revenues being funneled off by governments in Mongolia and Africa.
