On March 30, State Circus hosted a dueling competition between Mongolian and Russian judo players. At the invitation of the President Mongolian Judo Federation, Kh.Battulga, seven world renowned judo players from Russia were ringed in Ulaanbaatar, for which both sides put strong importance and placed a bet of US$50,000 each for the game, which ended by the domination of Mongolian judokas.

“We had strong hopes that we will win this, and we did,” said Mongolian national coach Ch.Nasantogtokh.

“This was the first time I wrestled with a Mongolian. Mongolians are so talented and skillful, I think. But it’s considerable that training regime of some of our players was distracted and some expecting wrestlers did not arrive paying more attention for the upcoming Olympic Games,” said Russian team coach Alexandr Mikhailin, three-times world champion, and twice Europe cup winner of Russia.
