A citizen of Erdenebulgan soum of Arkhangai aimag, Pelkhuugiin Choijinjav is facing his 108 years. He is the oldest one in Mongolia. Al his life he spent in the province. Having got much older, he began undertaking religious deeds. The children and pupils are planning to celebrate his 108 years birth anniversary during the Lunar New Year. In the aimag there are six elders above 100 years. Five of them live in Ogiinuur, Ikhtamir and Erdenemandal soums. Experts say copper prices to remain high for next two years |
Market observers believe Mongolian copper prices will remain high for at least the next two years. One of the main reasons given for the continuing high prices are delays to planned mining projects caused by increasing percentages of revenues being funneled off by governments in Mongolia and Africa. |
