Livestock Population Increased to 39.6 million

{mosimage}The Mongolian population is only 2.6million, whereas livestock has reached 39.6million, according to the 2007 Preliminary Livestock Census of the National Statistical Office of Mongolia (NSOM), on December 23. Compared to last year’s census, the number of livestock has increased by 13.9 percent or 4.8 million.
