Khasagt Khairkhan - Mountain in Gobi-Altai aimag
This mountain is located in Sharga and Jargalant soums of Gobi-Altai aimag. People’s Great Hural (PGH) Presidium Resolution No.17 initially designated it as a strictly protected area in 1965.

In 1995, it was approved as a strictly protected area by Parliament Resolution No. 26 to reclassify the status of protected areas. Khasagt Khairkhan encompasses 27,448 hectares.

Khuisyn Naiman Lakes

The area covers 11,500 hectares around the lake located in the Uyanga
soum territory of Ovorkhangai aimag to the southwest of the Khangai
mountain range and its surrounding area. It was placed under state
special protection by PMH Resolution No. 11 (1992), and was included in
the category “Cultural and Historical Sites” by Parliament Resolution
No. 26 (1995).
