 This area, comprised of 110,960 hectares of Tsambagarav mountain, was established in 2000 by Parliament resolution No. 29 It is located between Erdeneburen soum of Khovd aimag, and Altantsogts and Bayannuur soums of Bayan-Olgy aimag. The area is of significance for the study of glaciers and is purposed to provide the normal growth of snow leopards.               |

Canada will open a permanent trade office in Mongolia to assist local Canadian businesses. Canadian firms have a reported $395 million in investments, including operating more than 20 mines. Canada is also Mongolia’s second largest investor. |
