Mongolian Currency
ImageThe national currency of Mongolia is tugrug. Bank notes are issued for 10.000; 5.000; 1000; 500; 100; 50; 20; 10; 5 tugrug denominations. Foreign currency can be exchanged at commercial banks through their branches and counters in the major hotels and international airport. As at 11 October 2005 US$ 1 was worth approximately 1218 tugrug, 1 EUR was 1479.4 tugrug and it is subject to fluctuation.

Mongolian Barbecue
Mongolian Barbecue (Boodog) is made from goat or marmot meat. After a goat is slaughtered, the head and other parts are separated without cutting the skin. Then, in the skin all the meat that are cut into pieces and bones are put together with specially heated stones. Meanwhile, salt, water, and other spices are added.
