Description
The Hustai National park is one of Mongolian most visited protected area. It offers beautiful scenery of mountains, steppes, river wetlands and sand dunes representative of the Gobi Desert. You will feel nature and see the wild flora and fauna of Mongolia. Mammal species of the area include red deer or elk, Siberian roe deer, wild boars, Mongolian or tailed gazelle, Argali sheep, Bob ac marmot, Eurasian badger, Corsac fox, gray wolf, red fox, Pallas cat, and Eurasian lynx. Birds species include the Great Bustard, Black Stork, ant the Red-crowned crane. There are over 450 plant species and 130 insect species in Hustai National Park. One highlight is to see the herd of the Takhi wild horses. All of these various plants and animals can been found in the World Red Book.
