Joint Russian Mongolian School (School No 3)

In their age old wisdom, when the Russians arrived in Mongolia and UB in particular, they gave everything a number rather than a name …The No 3 school is is a state school with a number of Native and foreign English language teachers.

The school has an extensive language faculty teaching English as a second language, Chinese, Japanese, German, Russian and Korean. As well as the standard state curriculum. The school is popular with students and teachers alike.

The school is situated behind Mercury Mart, the students are aged from 9 – 18 years for English and Russian tuition. For a state school the facilities are excellent, although the library is pretty sparse due to the expense of books in Mongolia and lack of funding to public sector schools. Teaching is of a very high standard and provides a generally happy environment.
