ALL domestic and international flights of Aero Mongolia, a private civil aviation company, were suspended for an indefinite period by the Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority (MCAA) on October 31.
According to MCAA officials, a review between October 1 and 5 of the company’s flight details had found 161 instances of safety failure.
“The Safety Council of the MCAA decided to suspend all operations of Aero Mongolia for its breaches of flight safety laws and regulations,” M.Erdenebatmonkh, chief of the flight safety department of the MCAA, said.
The airline would be allowed to resume operations only after it corrected its problems to the satisfaction of MCAA.
